Barnsley under 18s 0 Wolves 3 (Hemmings 3)

Wolves' youth team put in the performance of the season to take three points at Barnsley.

The in-form Ashley Hemmings scored a hat-trick to take his tally to 12 goals so far this season.

The opener came after just 31 seconds when Aristote Guerin-Lokonga played the ball forward to the Wolves striker who rounded the keeper to slot home.

Wolves were unfortunate to lose both Danny Batth (shoulder) and Michael Wardle (thigh) with injuries mid-way through the half but quickly reorganised to double their lead.

This time it was Kyle Bennett and Alex Melbourne who set up Hemmings to again round the Barnsley stopper and score from 15 yards on 38 minutes.

The good work continued in the second half with the visitors dominating the game.
